SYNOPSIS
FR | Salt in Our Blood, in Our Sweat, in Our Tears prend son point de départ d’une croyance communément admise - mais inexacte - selon laquelle le sang contient la même quantité de sel que l’eau de mer. Trois narrateurs - une larme, une goutte de sang doré et une goutte de sueur - racontent leurs propres histoires d’amour et de perte. La vidéo est animée par un texte poétique : un vers intime avec une ambiguïté qui livre une métaréférence pour l’identité perdue ou retrouvée, une planète balafrée et notre monde en constante évolution.
EN | salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears takes its starting point from a commonly held - yet incorrect - belief that blood contains the same amount of salt as sea water. Three narrators - a teardrop, a drop of Golden blood and a droplet of sweat - tell their own stories of love and loss. The video is driven by a poetic text: an intimate verse with an ambiguity that delivers a metanarrative for lost and found identity, a scarred planet and our ever-changing world.
