SYNOPSIS
FR | Dans ce huis clos en temps réel, Eva (25 ans), doctorante sourde, se rend au bureau de Sandrine (54 ans), conseillère pédagogique de l'université, accompagnée de sa sœur et interprète Anna (24 ans), pour signaler les violences sexuelles commises par son professeur. Prise de court par la conversation, Sandrine conseille à Eva de s'adresser à la personne de confiance de l'université. Mais c'est un homme- Eva ne veut pas parler à un homme. À contrecœur, Sandrine s'engage dans l'échange, avertissant qu'un signalement a peu de chances d'aboutir à des conséquences et l'invitant à envisager une voie plus pragmatique. Eva commence à vaciller, mais Anna ne la laisse pas reculer. À mesure que la conversation s'intensifie, le ton de Sandrine se durcit et elle reporte subtilement la responsabilité sur Eva.C'est l'incapacité de Sandrine à l'aider qui pousse finalement Eva à dire à voix haute ce qui s'est réellement passé. Lorsqu'elle demande à nouveau de l'aide à Sandrine et n'obtient aucune réaction, Eva en a assez et s'en va. Anna la suit. Ce n'est qu'une fois la porte refermée derrière les deux femmes que Sandrine s'effondre.
EN | Eva (25), a deaf PhD student, arrives at the office of university study advisor Sandrine (54) with her sister and interpreter Anna (24) to report sexual abuse by Eva's professor. Sandrine is caught off guard by the conversation and advises Eva to turn to the university's confidential counselor. But that's a man - Eva doesn't want to talk to a man. Reluctantly, Sandrine engages, warning that filing a complaint is unlikely to lead to consequences and urging a more pragmatic path. Eva begins to waver, but Anna won't let her retreat. As the conversation intensifies, Sandrine's tone hardens and she subtly shifts responsibility onto Eva. Sandrine's failure to help is what finally pushes Eva to say out loud what actually happened. When she then asks Sandrine for help once more and gets no response, Eva has heard enough and leaves. Anna follows. Only when the door closes behind both women does Sandrine break down.
